Recap of the 2022 Prince’s Trust Adviser Training

Oct 10, 2022 | News

The Prince’s Trust Adviser Training was a strategic response to improve the low participation and by-in of the advisers who were already engaged to deliver the PTI Achieve Programme in two (2) Juvenile Remand Centres and ten (10) previously delivering Secondary Schools. In addition, the event served to train and equip the new advisers of the nineteen (19) new Secondary Schools that have registered to implement the Achieve programme in their institution.

The five and a half (5 1/2) hours event was held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Caenwood Centre Auditorium and hosted over forty (40) advisers; Principals, Guidance Counselors, Special Education teachers, Correctional Officers and Alternative Pathway to Secondary Education (APSE) Coaches.

Besides the training that each adviser underwent, this event provided a forum by which advisers were able to share best practices among each other geared towards the delivery of the Achieve Programme scheduled to start in October.
