One of the first activities leading up to National Careers Week was the Junior Achievement Company of Entrepreneurs (JACE) Annual General Meeting. This is where students enrolled in the JACE Program host a function that provides updates on the status of their start up companies to their various stakeholders at their respective schools. The AGM also featured a display of the companies’ products and services and a report from the major departments.
Importantly, the AGM was an avenue for the top company per school to be selected to be represented at the Regional Forum and Entrepreneurship Expo that took place on the Thursday of National Careers Week.
