Junior Achievement Jamaica’s 2025 Student Leadership Summit, held on February 14, brought together senior leaders of student-run companies for an inspiring one-day event focused on entrepreneurship. Students had the opportunity to learn best practices through an Entrepreneurship master class, connect with fellow student entrepreneurs, and engage with business leaders across Jamaica. Practical workshops covered key aspects of their student-led businesses, including leadership, marketing and sales, information technology, production and logistics, and finance, providing valuable skills to drive success in their future endeavors.
In honor of National Career’s Week 2025, the event featured the highly anticipated Junior Achievement Company of Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition. Students were engaged in entrepreneurship where they conceptualize a viable business idea, use the Business Model Canvas to validate, produce that concept and sell the product or service to customers. Throughout this process, our young entrepreuners the opportunity to showcase their innovation, creativity and business acumen.
